Students' rights of participation in UMGC activities and programs shall be in conformity with all pertinent federal and state laws on nondiscrimination.

°Õ³ó±ðÌýVeteran's Certification Office is responsible for the procedures involved in the certification of enrollments of veterans and active duty personnel and their dependents who are eligible for educational benefits from the Department of Veterans Affairs, under the following programs:

The procedures carried out by UMGC will be in accordance with the law (Title 38, United States Code) and regulated by the Department of Veterans Affairs (Title 38, Code of Federal Regulations).
UMGC-Adelphi students seeking help with personal-social problems that interfere with academic progress will be referred to professional counseling services in the community following an initial consultation with an advisor on a resource team or the Staff Support Team. UMGC-Adelphi students who are members of the U.S. military are encouraged to contact the counseling facilities, or other similar agencies, available on their military base or in the community.
UMGC-Europe and UMGC-Asia students who are members of the U.S. military community who seek personal counseling are encouraged to contact the counseling facilities, or other similar agencies, available on their military base or in the community.
